PURPOSE:
A 78-year-old male patient was diagnosed with decreased vision and foreign body sensation after ' right eye was scratched by ' branch ' for 6 years '.
METHODS:
Eye examination : VOD : 0.1, IOP 15 mmHg. It can be seen that the upper loop of the intraocular lens is located outside the conjunctiva, and part of it ran between the original corneal incision layers for about 2mm. A needle suture was fixed on the sclera. Only a small amount of iris tissue was seen from 4 to 8 o 'clock, and the pupil was irregular (9mm * 8mm), light reflection ( - ). The IOL was shifted to the temporal side, part of which was located the anterior chamber. After the eyelid was opened during the operation, it could be seen that the aqueous humor at 12 o 'clock leaked slowly from the upper loop of the intraocular lens to the cornea.
RESULTS:
During the operation, the lower loop of the IOL was tightly adhered with the surrounding tissue, so we cut off the lower loop and left it into the eye. We also cut off the upper loop, and took the main part out of the eye. After anterior vitrectomy, the corneal leakage at 12 o 'clock was sutured with 10-0 suture, the conjunctiva was released at 10 : 00-1 : 00 to cover the corneal leakage, and the 8-0 suture was sutured.
CONCLUSIONS:
Postoperative follow-up : the corrected visual acuity was 0.25 on the first day and one week after operation, and the IOP was normal.
